Heartbreakers Bust Out!

Therese Sorenson found out when she used herself as a guinea pig for her experimental rapid-growth cloning techniques. Much to her surprise, the experiment was a complete success: she's now surrounded by full-grown, genetically enhanced doppelgangers! Sorenson's Delta-series clones act as her research assistants, and her Beta clones-a.k.a. the Heartbreakers-are loyal bodyguards who can kick butt like nobody's business. Unfortunately, Sorenson's employers at the Biovoc corporation are using her discoveries to create a slave caste of clone laborers. When she begins developing an even more powerful genetic-engineering tool, Sorenson decides to conceal her new research from Biovoc. It's a decision that may well prove fatal.
